Setareh joined ClientEarth in February 2023 and is based in Los Angeles. Her work focuses on using corporate and securities laws to hold companies accountable and influence them to take positive climate action.

Experience

Before joining ClientEarth, Setareh was a complex commercial litigator with a focus on securities litigation at the global law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP in Los Angeles, California. Prior to that she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Andrew J. Guilford in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Education

Setareh graduated with a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she was selected to join the Order of the Coif. She graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in philosophy and women’s studies.

Setareh is member of the state bar of California.
